Established in 1997, Vane operates a gallery space, as well as a flexible workspace for artists to develop new work. Vane is based within the Orbis building, a community of creative organisations in Newcastle city centre.

Orbis Studios Floor 2 and 5 Commercial Union House has been transformed into workspaces for creative practitioners, charities and SMEs including: filmmakers, writers, disability art projects and dedicated meeting rooms.
Arcadea

Arcadea founded by disabled people in 1991 to address the inequality of disabled people in arts and culture, Arcadea is a user led organisation of Disabled People based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
B&D Studios

B&D Studios aim to support a variety of creative graduates wanting to base themselves in the North East. The hope is to mix a diverse range of creative skills, whilst offering a variety of workshops for different youth groups in the area.
Ampersand Inventions

Ampersand inventions has placed itself firmly within the artistic community of the North East, building an environment for both emerging and established artists to work and show in, as well as being a hotspot for lecture, workshop and studio room hire.

The project space's programme enriches the studio-holders' working environment and most events are open to the public. It showcases artworks across categories, formats & media which are shared in the form of an 'event'.

Space Six aims to connect talent, resource and opportunity for the benefit of creatives in the North East. Our members and clients have access to two semi-sprung rehearsal spaces, studio offices and a communal breakout areas.
